Merry Christmas from all at Heathcotes@Warrington

Deck the halls with bought of holly

The first of the Christmas parties took place last weekend at the one and only Halliwell Jones Stadium, home to Warrington Wolves. The stadium was packed out with Christmas parties taking over most of our superb function rooms for both a festive lunch and evening Christmas do. There were over 900 guests in attendance all in yuletide spirit!

At 9am last Friday, Halliwell Jones’ efficient events team were busy decorating and decorating the rooms for the many Christmas parties. Almost 300 guests turned up at 12 noon decked in their finery for a Heathcotes Christmas lunch. A delicious three course traditional Christmas dinner, cooked and prepared by Heathcotes trained chefs, was enjoyed by all guests.

Our events suites were glittering and sparkling with festive cheer, the fairy lights twinkling on the Christmas trees and the tables laid out for a feast fit for a king!

The evening dos saw the first of the All-inclusive Party Nights take off! All-inclusive nights were so popular last year that we’ve added extra nights this year! El vino definitely did flow! Guests enjoyed party bags filled with fun novelties, unlimited house wine, house spirits and draught beer and a DJ until late. Once the fabulous Heathcotes food had been gobbled up by hungry party goers, they flocked to the dance floor and boogied the night away to hit pop tunes and Christmas Hits!

Some of our guests had this to say, “everybody enjoyed the night, the food and service was lovely,” “Everyone who attended enjoyed it and are still talking about it.”

The whole weekend was a huge success and we’re currently decking out the Martin Dawes Stand, NSW Engineering and Platinum Lounges for yet another weekend of festive fun!

Thanks to all who came, it was a fabulous weekend to kick start the festivities – we hope to see you all again next year! If you do want to get in there early and plan next year’s Christmas party please contact heathcoteswarrington@thelindleygroup.com for more information.

Halliwell Jones Stadium Undergoes Development

For a few months now there’s been a hive of activity around the stadium with all the building work.  The club is expanding the stadium, increasing the capacity by 2,000.  New stands are being constructed in each of the corners. It is the first expansion since the stadium opened in 2003 and will undoubtedly create a better atmosphere with 2,000 additional supporters coming to each game!

The stands are expected to be completed by the 2012 season. Over the years Warrington Wolves’ loyal fan base has increased with season ticket sales growing year on year.  Both corners of the Martin Dawes (East) Stand are being filled in with one side incorporating the traditional standing terraces with the other being the new seating.

The development is expected to benefit the local community, particularly as the club encouraged local businesses to tender for the work.
